Sewing Lessons Manly is a unique service being offered in the Sydney area, to anyone who has always wanted to learn the useful art of sewing. While once-upon-a-time everyone use to know how to make their own clothes and curtains from school-age, sewing has lost its importance in the education curriculum against other professions, making it harder and harder to find a dressmaker. So why not learn the skills yourself? It’s not as hard as it seems (seam – pardon the pun!) and you will be suprised with what you can achieve!
Having basic sewing skills can save you a lot of money, by making something for a fraction of the cost to buy one. How many times have you seen an expensive item and thought “I could make the same thing a lot cheaper” – well now you can! If you sketch a picture of the item, our qualified seamstress can help you to create a pattern and produce the item from cutting to finishing. But beware – these lessons can be addictive!

The lessons are taught by our qualified seamstress who has over 11 years experience on many different aspects of dressmaking and machining. These fields include fashion design, patternmaking, costume making for theatre and feature films, industrial machining (of surf board bags and covers), tailoring and alterations, plus bridal dressmaking. If sewing lessons is not your thing, we can also point you in the right direction for a seamstress.
